PATCHS is now live

We’re pleased to announce that our new online consultation tool, PATCHS, is now live.

We have selected PATCHS to take the place of our current online consultation service to improve the experience for our patients.

The new online consultation service offers a secure, simple and flexible way for patients and carers to contact their GP practice – it will not replace face to face appointments, it is in addition to routine contact with Practices. This should not be used for emergencies when you should contact 999 or visit A&E.

By registering you will have easy access to a range of services from your computer or smartphone, including:

  • reporting symptoms to your GP
  • accessing health advice

To request repeat prescriptions, you should continue to follow the current process we have in place.

All you will need to do is provide an email address and set up a password.  Please make sure when you create your account that your First Name and Surname exactly match the details you used when you registered with the practice.

If you have any problems registering your account, you can call the surgery who can help with this. The initial set-up might take a few minutes, but once you have an account, we hope you will find the new platform a lot more streamlined, and easier to use.

COVID vaccination status

From 17th May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from:

It may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use these services.

If you cannot access these online services, and you have had 2 vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.

The practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.

When you’re planning your travel, check the latest information on demonstrating your COVID-19 status when travelling abroad on the gov.uk website. Make sure there is time to get  proof of your vaccination status before you leave.
